Although Fourth of July is a blast in New York City, there are fun things to do all month. We’ve searched high and low to provide you our top three events.

Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination

Don’t wait one more minute. Seriously, don’t. Even if you are not religious, this exhibition is a fantastic display of some of the most ornate papal robes and accessories from the Sistine Chapel. See the show so that you can join the conversation. On view from June 27th - October 8th in The Met’s Medieval and Byzantine galleries, and The Met Cloisters.

Harlem Week (July 29 - Aug 25th)

Celebrate Harlem’s rich economic, political, and cultural history through a series of week-long events. An auto show, small-business expo, fashion show, children’s festival, outdoor film screenings, and street party, are just a couple of things drawing visitors from near and far.

Warm Up at MoMA PS1

It’s that time of year again. Hop over the bridge to MoMA PS1 for live electronic and music performances featuring emerging artists and DJ’s. The series spans over a ten week period and kicks off on June 30th until September 1st.
