Buckle up, St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and New York City will be overtaken by Irish pride, music, and celebrations. You may be wondering, how can I survive St. Patrick’s Day in NYC? And that’s why we are here. Follow these three easy steps and you will have the best time yet.

1 | Wear Green. New York City is different from other celebrations because numerous activities are happening at once. Wear green signaling to other St. Patrick’s day celebrators that you are ready to party.

2 | Go to the Parade. Although festivities are popping up all over the city, the parade is a wonderful gathering of traditions and honor. It takes place on March 17th from 11am to 5pm, and travels from 44th Street on Fifth Avenue to 79th street.

3 | Think Green, Don’t Drink Green. Make sure to be responsible and keep NYC clean, this mean avoiding sugary green colored drinks. Stick to the basics, like Guinness or Jameson to feel the luck of the Irish.

We hope you have a safe and joyful time. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
